Who We Are

JLM Property is an Estate Agency specializing in the Commercial and Industrial Sector of Cape Town. The company was established in 2008, specializing in Property Management, Sales and Leasing of Commercial and Industrial properties. With over 20 years combined experience in the Property Industry, you are always in good hands.

JLM Property has established itself as one of the largest property management companies operating in the Northern Suburbs Industrial and Commercial Sector, catering to the needs of its clients by providing a much needed personal service by operating in the area that it manages its properties as well as ensuring that clients are treated with an efficient, friendly service.


Meet The Team

 Jedd Williams – Director

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Jedd studied and qualified at Stellenbosch University, obtaining a Batchelors in Management Accounting in 2004.
From there he went overseas and worked for one of the largest Property Housing Associations in the United Kingdom, Circle Anglia.

There he began working in their Financial Division in London, managing the accounts and payments department for over 35,000 properties over the United Kingdom, managing payments to suppliers of over £5,000,000 on a weekly basis.
He was promoted to their Treasury Department within the first year, where he managed the accounting and investments of the association worth over £200,000,000, as well as overseeing the Subsidiaries Accounts and Payments Departments.

He came back to South Africa in 2008, whereby he ran the Financial Division of one of the largest Outbound Call Centers in South Africa, Performance Based Outsourcing, where he worked together with the CEO to manage all aspects of the Financial and Operations of the Business.

In 2012, he finally went back into the Property Industry, where he managed a large portfolio of Individual Clients Properties in the Commercial and Industrial Sector, as well as a large portfolio of Sectional Title Complexes in the industry. He realized that this is where his skills learnt in the financial aspects of property management would make a great impact by being able to service client’s needs better than the opposition.


Chrisma Swart – Property Administrator

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In Chrisma’s over seven years’ experience in property management, whereby she has worked through all aspects of the industry.

She started working in Residential Property Administration and moved over to Commercial and Industrial Sectional Title and Individual Client Property Management for the last two and a half years.

She is experienced in both the financial, admin and physical management of the portfolios under her wing.

Chrisma has shown that her experience and understanding of clients’ needs gives a personal touch to dealing with clients by always trying to go that extra mile.


Niki Taljaard – Property Administrator

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Niki is an ex Gautenger, moving to Cape Town in early 2000.

She worked for many years in both the textiles and hospitality industries, as well as working in the stock market as a PA to Stock Brokers, learning the ins and outs of the industry.

Niki started her career in Commercial and Industrial Property Administration in early 2017, and has taken to the role of property administrator with ease.

Her experience in Graphic Design as well as working as a Personal Assistant for Management and Directors shows in her attention to detail and communicating thoughts and ideas visually as well as logically to clients.

Niki is a great asset to the team and works hard to ensure the personal service that JLM strive’ s towards.


Barbie Lepan – Accounts

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Barbie has a vast experience in all aspects of Finance with her over 30 years’ experience.

She has worked for large Corporate Companies, as well as smaller independent companies over the years, giving her a broader experience in accounting and finance.

Barbie has been working in the Commercial and Industrial Property Management Industry for over six years, whereby she has vast experience in Property Administration programs such as Nicor and Propworx.

Barbie is hard working, efficient and ensures that exceeds clients and co-workers expectations.


Louise Kuhnert – Reception, PA and Admin Assistant

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Louise has worked for a variety of different industries since graduating from school, learning many different aspects of reception work, office administration and finance.

Louise has not been in the Property Administration Industry for long, but has shown that she is a fast learner and eager to learn even more.

She assists all the staff in the company with many different aspects of the business and has learnt much since starting with JLM in 2017.

Louise looks forward to becoming part of the Property Administration Team in the near future.
